Компания SiliconDust давно известная на зарубежном рынке по сетевым ТВ-тюнерам HDHomeRun для стандарта ATSC предложила аналогичное решение и для европейского DVB. Модельный ряд HDHomeRun теперь имеет HDHomeRun Dual HDHR-EU, которая может работать с эфирными и кабельными сигналами DVB.

Кроме того HDHomeRun Prime является не просто ТВ тюнером, а может использоваться как сетевая трехканальная модель для приема с нескольких источников и передачи сигналов в домашнюю медиа сеть, откуда они распределяются по приемникам. Имеется возможность приема цифрового кабельного ТВ, встроенный CI-слот позволяет просматривать платные телеканалы. HDHomeRun Prime поддерживает Windows Media Center, производятся тюнеры оптимизированные для работы в сетях на основе операционных систем Windows, Linux и Mac. В одной домашней сети может использоваться несколько тюнеров.
