Для повышения надежности хранения, ускорения доступа и повышения объема сохраняемых данных используются разные конфигурации: RAID 0, RAID 1 и JBOD. Для соединения с сетью имеется гигабитный интерфейс Ethernet. Есть возможность ограничения доступа для отдельных пользователей сети, при этом обеспечивается доступ к хранимым медиа ресурсам, как из домашней сети, так и из глобальной сети интернет. Имеется функция автоматического архивирования данных One Touch Backup.<br /><br />Кроме того RaidSonic ICY BOX IB-NAS6220 оснащен тремя портами USB типа, один из которых может использоваться для подключения сетевого принтера.<br /><br />Предполагаемая рекомендованная розничная стоимость RaidSonic ICY BOX IB-NAS6220, который скоро поступит в продажу, около 190 евро, в России очевидно немного выше.<br />
