Размер кадра "Апокалипсиса" был предметом долгих споров: фильм был снят по технологии Super Technovision (35 мм),  с предполагаемым соотношенем сторон 2.35:1 (на самом деле 2.39:1). Тем не менее, все DVD-релизы фильма выходили с модифицированным соотношением  2.00:1. В 1999 году двое из продюсеров фильма подтвердили, что решение о том, что для домашнего просмотра и трансляции фильм будет выходить с таким соотношением сторон, принял режиссер Витторио Стораро. Так что на BD этот фильм впервые будет выпущен с исходным соотношением сторон. <br />Напоминаем, что фильм будет издан в двух вариантах: двухдисковое издание и трехдисковое.
