Paramount анонсировала релиз комедии о гонках «Лихач» (“Hot Rod”) с Энди Самбергом в главной роли, который состоится 16 декабря.
Во время кинотеатрального проката, фильм собрал около $25 миллионов, и в 2007 году Paramount выпустила его на HD DVD.
Дополнительные материалы идентичны тем, что присутствовали на HD DVD издании, и включают 3 часа комментариев режиссера Акивы Шаффера и актеров Энди Самберга и Джорма Таконе, сюжет "Ancestors Protect Me: Behind the Scenes of 'Hot Rod'", несколько записей со съемочной площадки "Kevin's Videos", несколько удаленных сцен, кинотеатральный трейлер.
Технические характеристики диска таковы: разрешение 1080p video со звуком Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround track (в 48kHz/24-bit), а также Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Surround на английском, французском и испанском.
