Фильм режиссера Ричарда Келли, ранее снявшего ставшей культовой картину «Донни Дарко», провалился в прокате и получил весьма критические отзывы.  Однако у картины появится еще один шанс проявить себя, когда 18 ноября она появится на Blu-ray (ранее картина также выходила на DVD).<br />Дополнительные материалы будут включать комментарии режиссера, сюжет  "USIDent TV: Surveying the Southland", галерею "Southland Tales: The Prequel Saga Graphic Novel" и короткую анимацию "This Is The Way The World Ends". <br />145 минут дополнительных материалов и сам фильм разместятся на двухслойном диске BD-50 со следующими характеристиками: разрешение 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video со звуком English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio. <br />Ориентировочная цена за диск Blu-ray в Америке составит $28.95.<br />
