Weinstein представляет на Blu-ray картину «Мгла» Студия Wienstein Co., которая одной из последних присоединилась к лагерю, поддерживающих формат Blu-ray, сообщила, что готовит ряд релизов в этом формате и первым фильмом уже в августе станет «Мгла» (“The Mist”).

В прошлом месяце компания уже выпустила на Blu-ray телевизионный сериал “Lonesome Dove” , «Мгла» станет первым полнометражным фильмом Weinstein, который студия выпустит на Blu-ray 5 августа (ранее студия поддерживала формат HD DVD, пока он не «приказал долго жить»).

Фильм «Мгла» режиссера Фрэнка Дэрэбонта, в основе сценария которого лежит рассказ Стивена Кинга выйдет на Blu-ray в издании из 2-х дисков со множеством дополнительных материалов, которые идентичны тем, что присутствовали на весьма успешном DVD –издании (которое вышло в марте этого года). Бонусные материалы включают комментарии режиссера, несколько сюжетов со съемки фильма, удаленные сцены, Web-i-sodes и трейлер фильма.

Также в издание включена уникальная «черно-белая» версия фильма на отдельном диске, представленная в разрешение 1080p со звуком Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround.
Ориентировочная розничная цена на диск Blu-ray за рубежом составит $34.98.
