«Звезда родилась» на Blu-Ray в разрешении 6K Студия Warner сообщила, что готовит релиз ан DVD и Blu-ray классического фильма 1954 года “A Star is Born” («Звезда родилась»).

Согласно сообщению газеты “The Hollywood Reporter” студия выбрала фильм с Джуди Гарланд и Джеймсом Мейсоном в качестве первого фильма с разрешением 6K. (Большинство фильмов имеют разрешение 2K. Файл с разрешением 6K занимает гораздо больше места, нежели фильм в разрешением 2K).

Ожидается, что полный процесс восстановления пленки и перевода фильма в «цифру» займет около 6-ти месяцев.
Приоритетной целью студии является сохранение фильма как такового, а затем его выпуск на Blu-ray и DVD.

Нед Прайс (Ned Price), VP Mastering в Warner Brothers Technical Operation сообщил, что «6К – достаточно дорогая процедура, на “A Star is Born” - пробный камень» . «Как только механизм будет отлажен, и более доступным, разрешение на других фильмах, которые мы планируем выпускать будет таким же высоким.»
Пока студия Warner не сообщала ни конкретной даты выхода “A Star is Born” на Blu-ray ни информации о дополнительных материалах и технических характеристиках. В любом случае, мы будем держать вас в курсе событий!
