Оба процессора производятся на базе 45-нм технологического процесса и продаются по цене $60 и $66 соответственно.<br /><br />AMD Athlon X2 240 работает на тактовой частоте 2,8 ГГц, X2 245 — на частоте 2,9 ГГц. Оба чипа имеют по 2 МБ кэш-памяти второго уровня. Максимальное энергопотребление составляет 65 Вт.<br /><br />Согласно пресс-релизу, в купе с системной логикой AMD новые чипы позволяют комфортно работать со стандартными приложениями, используя преимущества многозадачной среды. А при наличии видеокарты ATI Radeon HD пользователь получает возможность наслаждаться неплохими графическими спецэффектами. <br />
