Компания Maingear представила новый мультимедийный компьютер Axess HD Gamer, позиционирующийся в качестве основного компонента развлекательной системы современного "цифрового дома".

Внешним видом анонсированное устройство напоминает традиционный AV-ресивер. В основу ПК положен четырехъядерный процессор Core i7, а объем оперативной памяти в максимальной конфигурации достигает 12 Гб. По желанию заказчика в медиацентр может быть установлено два жестких диска суммарным объемом 2 Тб или два твердотельных накопителя.

Axess HD Gamer оснащается двумя графическими ускорителями GeForce 9800 GT, работающими в режиме SLI. В арсенале компьютера имеются привод Blu-ray, кардридер и интерфейс HDMI. На лицевой панели корпуса размещен информационный дисплей на основе органических светодиодов, на который выводятся данные о проигрываемых в текущий момент медиафайлах.

В комплект поставки новинки входит игровой набор Phantom Lapboard (на изображении ниже), который позволяет комфортно работать с компьютером, например, сидя на диване или в кресле. В состав Lapboard входят беспроводная клавиатура, лазерная мышь и специальная трансформируемая подставка, заменяющая поверхность рабочего стола.

Стоимость медиацентра Maingear Axess HD Gamer в минимальной конфигурации составляет около 1 800 долларов.
