Пока весь мир ждет появления на рынке OLED HD телевизора с большой диагональю, проектировщики из компании DuPont занимаются совсем другим: они стремятся продлить жизненный цикл будущих телевизоров.<br /><br />Те, кто следил за историей развития OLED, знает, что небольшой жизненный цикл светодиодов является серьезным препятствием на пути продвижения OLED телевизоров на рынке. Если разработки DuPont приведут к удачным результатам, эта проблема будет решена. Работники компании уже представили новый зеленый светоизлучающий материал, который может проработать более сотни лет без перерыва. Те же ученые представили синий светоизлучающий материал с половиной ожидаемого срока жизни 38000 часов и красный светоизлучающий материал с жизненным циклом 62000 часов.<br /><br />Теперь на пути внедрения OLED, похоже, встает новая проблема: слишком высокая цена.
