Напомним, Computex – одно из самых крупных мероприятий в индустрии информационных технологий. Выставка проходит ежегодно в столице Тайваня Тайбэе. Она началась сегодня, 2 июня, и продлиться пять дней. <br /><br />По словам официальных представителей Intel, важную роль в дальнейшем росте компьютерного рынка сыграют ультратонкие лэптопы – некая промежуточная категория между обычным, полноразмерным лэптопом и нетбуком. Подобные лэптопы продаются уже давно и стали популярными после выхода Apple MacBook Air. Однако высокая стоимость не позволяет говорить о них, как о массовом продукте. Компания Intel продвигает идею тонких лэптопов по цене в пределах от $500 до $1300. Толщина корпуса таких систем не должна превышать 2,5 см, а вес составлять в пределах от 900 г до 2,3 кг. <br /><br />Компания представила новый процессор для таких компьютеров – Pentium SU2700 класса ULV (работающий на сверхнизком напряжении). Продуктовый ряд Intel уже включает подобные решения, например, Core 2 Solo SU3500. Но в отличие от Core 2 Duo, SU2700 является одноядерным. Это привело к снижению производииельности, но позволило продлить время автономной работы – до 8 часов против примерно 5 часов у Core 2 Duo. Чип работает на частоте 1,3 ГГц и обладает 2 МБ кэш-памяти. Помимо процессора, был представлен чипсет Intel GS40 Express, также предназначенный для тонких лэптопов. Чипсет обеспечивает возможность просмотра видео высокой четкости и вывода изображения через HDMI. <br /><br />По данным Intel, только лишь 11% владельцев ноутбуков выносят свои компьютеры из дома. Но при наличии более компактного варианта, число таких людей удваивается. По мнению представителей Intel, в этом и скрывается потенциал роста. Тонкие лэптопы представляют собой весьма интересную категорию, которая непременно будет развиваться. Такие лэптопы могут быть оснащены беспроводными технологиями My WiFi и WiMAX. Технология My WiFi позволяет превращать ноутбук в точку доступа. Для пользователей, заинтересованных в покупке тонких и легких лэптопов, данные системы предлагают лучшее соотношение между весом, размером, производительностью, мощностью и ценой, утверждают в корпорации. <br /><br />Компания также анонсировала три стандартных мобильных процессора Core 2 Duo T9900, P9700 и P8800. Первый из них работает на тактовой частоте 3,06 ГГц (впервые выше 3 ГГц). <br /><br />Не осталась в долгу и AMD. С понедельника, 1 июня, вендор приступил к поставкам двухъядерных процессоров AMD Athlon Neo, представляющих собой альтернативу Intel ULV. Новый процессор идет на смену одноядерному чипу, выпущенному в январе этого года. Он работает на тактовой частоте 1,6 ГГц и потребляет 18 Вт. В будущем он станет частью новой мобильной платформы Congo, в состав которой войдет обновленный интегрированный графический контроллер Radeon 3200. <br /><br />Первый ноутбук с двухъядерным процессором AMD Athlon Neo уже поступил в продажу от компании Hewlett-Packard. Между тем, был представлен и первый ноутбук на процессоере Pentium SU2700 – им стал 13-дюймовый Lenovo IdeaPad U350. Компьютер комплектуется встроенным графическим адаптером, жестким диском емкостью до 500 ГБ и поддерживает до 8 ГБ оперативной памяти. Вес компьютера составляет 1,6 кг. Его продажи планируется начать в июне 2009 г. <br />
