Стоимость чипа составит $15. <br /><br />Массовое производство контроллера планируется начать в III квартале 2009 г. Первые компьютеры с поддержкой USB 3.0 можно будет увидеть в конце года, в то время как периферийные устройства появятся, скорее всего, только в 2010 г. <br /><br />Между тем, контроллер обеспечивает обратную совместимость с USB 2.0 и USB 1.1. Это заложено в новую версию интерфейса. <br /><br />
