Новинка является усовершенствованной версией модели TMS320DM355, поддерживающей видео 720p.<br /><br />Среди сфер применения нового чипа называются дверные видео звонки, системы типа Digital Signage, портативные медиа плееры. По заявлениям производителей, затраты разработчиков при использовании SoC-чипа снижаются примерно на 25% по сравнению с тем, если бы они собирали систему из отдельных компонентов – центрального процессора, процессоров изображений, ускорителей, кодеков.<br /><br />Компания Z3 Technology уже представила свою новинку на базе TMS320DM365 – системную плату M365-MOD, которая может использоваться в системах видеонаблюдения, цифровых видео рекордерах с SSD-дисками, приложениях потоковой передачи видео. Кроме того, своё устройство представила и компания Leopard Imaging. Её продукт под названием LI-5M02, который включает 5-Мп КМОП-сенсор и может использоваться для создания видеокамер высокого разрешения.<br /><br />Чип TMS320DM365 уже доступен для ознакомления разработчикам. Его цена составляет $37,85 в партиях от 100 штук.
