Тайваньская компания MSI представила 15,4-дюймовый ноутбук VX600.

Стоимость MSI VX600 в максимальной конфигурации вряд ли превысит 800 долларов США.
Лэптоп построен на базе чипсета SIS 672DX+SIS 968 и двухъядерного процессора Intel Core 2 Duo (архитектура Penryn). За воспроизведение графики отвечает дискретная видеокарта ATI Mobility Radeon HD3410 с 512 Мб памяти.

Разрешение экрана MSI VX600 составляет 1280х800 точек. Ноутбук имеет два слота для оперативной памяти DDR2 SO-DIMMx 533/667 МГц (максимальный поддерживаемый объем –– 4 Гб). Емкость винчестера в зависимости от модификации может составлять 160, 250 или 320 Гб.

Кроме того, VX600 оснащен 1,3-мегапиксельной веб-камерой, Ethernet-портом, кардридером (SD/MMC/MS/XD), контроллером Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g), четырьмя USB-портами, пишущим DVD-приводом и двумя стереодинамиками. В качестве опции предлагается Bluetooth-модуль.

Ноутбук работает под управлением ОС Windows Vista Home Premium.

Новинка может комплектоваться 3- или 6-ячеечным аккумулятором. Вес версии с более мощной батареей составляет 2,6 кг. Размеры устройства –– 358x259x27-33 мм.
