Называться новинка будет Superspeed USB.<br /><br />Главная особенность Superspeed USB (USB 3.0) — высокая скорость работы, которая становится необходимостью в наш век популяризации HD-видео и SSD-носителей. Способностей USB 2.0 стало просто не хватать обычным пользователям. По словам разработчиков из USB 3.0 Promoter Group, большинство потребителей недовольны, если переписывание файла занимает дольше 1,5 минуты.<br /><br />Superspeed USB работает в десять раз быстрее — 300 Мб/с. Разработчики уверены, что именно такая скорость станет новым стандартом для передачи данных. Напомним, что данный формат сохраняет совместимость с USB 2.0. Intel отказалась от использования оптического соединения, так как это могло значительно повысить стоимость кабеля. Вероятно, данную технологию приберегут на будущее. Сам порт USB 3.0 остался почти таким же, как и USB 2.0.
