Модель Media Station имеет подсоединение LAN, а модель Media Station Pro имеет беспроводное соединение WLAN, что дает возможность интеграции жестких дисков в домашнюю компьютерную сеть. У жестких дисков Media Station Pro также есть функция приема сигнала интернет-радио. <br /><br />MediaStation работает на 3.5" жестком диске SATA для постоянной записи и чтения информации. Память объемом 500 ГБ позволяет хранить до 1000 часов видеозаписи в формате MPEG 4, 6300 часов музыки в формате MP3, или 250 000 пятимегапиксельных фотографий. <br /><br />Мультимедийные жесткие диски могут воспроизводить все популярные видео, аудио и графические форматы, включая MPEG4, DivX, MP3, WMA, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, JPEG и PNG. Все необходимые кабели для подсоединения идут в комплекте с жестким диском. Обе модели MediaStation также поддерживают формат Digital Audio 5.1. <br /><br />Media Station предлагает композитное и S-Video соединения.
