<div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-08/1219814676_intel20logo.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Процессоры Intel в режиме турбо' title='Процессоры Intel в режиме турбо' /></div><br />На форуме Intel для разработчиков старший вице-президент корпорации Intel, генеральный менеджер подразделения Digital Enterprise Group, Патрик Гелсингер (Pat Gelsinger) обнародовал последнюю информацию о характеристиках нового поколения процессоров, уделив особое внимание использованию нового турбо-режима, который позволяет переключать процессор в более скоростной режим и достигать рекордной производительности без перегрева.<br /><br />Первыми в производство будут запущены процессоры Intel Core i7 для настольных ПК и энергоэффективные высокопроизводительные серверные процессоры (под кодовым названием Nehalem-EP). Также корпорация Intel планирует производство другой серверной продукции, предназначенной для рынка расширяемых серверов (Nehalem-EX), мобильных ПК (Havendale, Lynnfield) и клиентских настольных ПК (Auburndale и Clarkdale) во второй половине 2009 г.<br /><br />В новом поколении микроархитектуры Core используется технология Intel Hyper-Threading, позволяющая одновременно обрабатывать 8 потоков на 4-ядерных процессорах. Помимо всего прочего, для предотвращения образования узких мест при передаче данных между процессорами, установленными в разных разъемах, в Intel было разработано новое межкомпонентное соединение Intel QuickPath, последовательный канал передачи данных типа «точка-точка», который в отличие от стандартной шины FSB, увеличивает скорость передачи данных до 4-8 раз.
