Камера оборудована и 3-дюймовым экраном и объективом с 5-кратным оптическим зумом. А для любителей поэкспериментировать с результатами творческой деятельности комплектация предусматривает наличие программного обеспечения для редактирования отснятых кадров и видеомонтажа ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme.

Вместе с DXG-595V поставляется набор кабелей, включающий USB 2.0 для синхронизации с компьютером, компонентный и S-video для подключения устройства к телевизору. Запись ведется на карты SDHC объемом до 8 гигабайт.
