Ранее компания уже выпускала видеокарты подобного назначения под брендами FireGL и FireMV. <br /><br />Одновременно с запуском бренда были представлены первые две видеокарты: ATI Fire Pro V5700 и V3700. <br /><br />Модель V5700 оснащена 512 МБ оперативной памяти, двухканальным интерфейсом DVI, интерфейсом DisplayPort и способна выводить более 1 млрд. цветовых оттенков. Унифицированный декодер обеспечивает совместимость с Blu-ray. Благодаря наличию 320 модулей потоковых вычислений новая карта обеспечивает до двух раз более высокую производительность в шейдерных приложениях по сравнению с картой предыдущего поколения ATI FireGL V5600 со 120 модулями. <br /><br />Вторая видеокарта относится к начальному уровню. Она предназначена для тех, кто только начал работать с 3D-графикой. Памяти в этой карте вдвое меньше, отсутствует DisplayPort. <br /><br />Рекомендуемая стоимость V3700 составляет $100, более мощной V5700 – $600. Продажи первой уже начались, V5700 появится в сентябре.
