Динамическая контрастность, достигаемая производителями ЖК-панелей за счет активного управления яркостью подсветки в зависимости от сцены, не является ключевым параметром для качества изображения. Это не мешает стать таким технологиям едва ли не главным оружием маркетинговых отделов в войне за покупателя.

Если не так давно динамическая контрастность ЖК-дисплеев на уровне 3000:1 считалась весьма высокой, то сегодня и 20000:1 не редкость.

На текущий момент пальму первенства захватила Acer, чья технология ACM, реализованная в новом игровом мониторе G24, обеспечивает динамическую контрастность 50000:1. Естественно, увидеть такую контрастность в одной сцене не получится.

Новинка обеспечивает поддержку FullHD благодаря матрице с разрешением 1920 х 1200 пикселей при физической диагонали в 24 дюйма.

Время отклика в 2 мс и углы обзора, составляющие всего 160 градусов по вертикали и горизонтали, не оставляют сомнений, что в решении применена матрица TN-film.

Благодаря фирменной технологии Acer CrystalBrite яркость удалось довести до 400 нит, что выше обычного уровня в 300 нит, но светодиодной подсветки матрица, похоже, не имеет.

Acer G24 оснащается входами DVI и HDMI.
