В дополнении ко вчерашней новости о новой линейки HD-видеокамер JVC выяснилось, что помимо моделей HD30 и HD40, появится также младшая: Everio HD10. В отличие от старших, позволяющих записывать Full HD-разрешение, она позволяет делать записи в 1440 x 1080.

В моделях HD30 и HD40 впервые пользователю доступен выбор формата, в котором следует производить запись: AVCHD (H.264) или MPEG-2. Записанное в формате MPEG-2 видео занимает больше места, однако в некоторых случаях его проще редактировать.

По данным производителя, JVC Everio HD40 – первая видеокамера, позволяющая записать до 50 часов видео высокой четкости без помощи дополнительной памяти. Емкости встроенного в камкодер жесткого диска в 120 ГБ хватает на запись 50 часов видео с разрешением 1920 x 1080 пикселей в режиме пониженного качества изображения и до 15 часов – в максимальном качестве. Модели HD30 и HD10 обладают менее емкими винчестерами на 80 и 40 ГБ соответственно. Для увеличения памяти в каждой модели предусмотрен слот для microSD-карт.

Видеокамеры появятся в продаже в конце лета по цене $800, $1000 и $1300 соответственно.
