Компания HP начала продажи новой модели компьютерного 24-дюймого ЖК-монитора с технологией DreamColor. Новая модель HP DreamColor LP2480xz оснащена впечатляющим набором коммутационных разъемов. Здесь есть HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, S-Video, а также компонентный и композитные входы. Монитор совместим с HDCP, что дает возможность просматривать на нем фильмы высокой четкости. Благо максимальное разрешение в 1920 x 1200 пикселей этой цели полностью соответствует. Яркость дисплея составляет 250 нит, контрастность – 1000 мс, время отклика – 6 мс.

Тем временем, главной отличительной чертой LP2480xz является способность отображать более 1 млрд. цветовых оттенков, что стало возможным благодаря совместной работе с компанией DreamWorks Animation. В результате этого была разработана технология DreamColor, которая и используется в новом мониторе.

Новинка уже доступна на мировом рынке. Рекомендуемая стоимость в США составляет $3500.
