Инженерами EIKI специально для этой модели была разработана двухламповая оптическая система с увеличенным ресурсом работы. Удобство и надежность варианта оснащения проектора двумя лампами были доказаны в предыдущие годы: если вторая лампа по каким-то причинам вышла из строя, то проектор будет продолжать работать и с одной лампой. Для новой модели EIKI LC-W5 заявлены яркость 6000 ANSI-лм и контрастность 2000:1. По принятым сейчас в кинематографе нормам освещенности поверхности экрана этой мощности светового потока с лихвой хватит для качественной демонстрации фильмов на киноэкран шириной 10-12 м. Разрешение новых ЖК-матриц составляет 1370x804. EIKI-LCW5 оснащен механическим затвором, функциями вертикального смещения объектива, вертикальной и горизонтальной коррекцией трапеции. Глубина цвета воспроизводимого изображения составит 10 бит. <br /><br />Проектор укомплектован новым фильтром кассетного типа с функцией автоматического прокручивания, что существенно увеличивает срок службы фильтра, и, соответственно, необходимость его замены будет возникать значительно реже. Это значительно упрощает его обслуживание, особенно, если используется вариант установки проектора под потолком.
