В рамках мероприятия PlayStation Day 2008 стало известно много подробностей относительно выхода в ближайшем будущем потенциальных хитов для консолей от Sony – в том числе и для PS3. Уже пару недель в Европейском (так же и в Русском) PS-store к закачке доступна демо-версия игры Haze.

В демо-версии игровое действо начинается посреди джунглей – нас бросают сразу в гущу событий, без каких-либо объяснений, что, кто и для чего. Единственное, что ясно – на вас из джунглей лезут плохие парни, а вы в компании хороших парней должны их отстреливать, по ходу продвигаясь вглубь.

Управление стандартно для PS3-шутеров от первого лица: ходим левым аналогом, целимся правым, стреляем с помощью триггеров (верхних кнопок, или «шифтов», как их некоторые называют). Для левшей в настройках управления есть специальный пункт – можно выбрать специальный профиль.

Особенностью игрового процесс является использование препарата называемого «нектар» - он улучшает различные способности персонажей, упрощая уничтожение противников. Введя нектар вы сможете дальше видеть, используя зум, ваши удары станут сильнее, а враги будут светиться ярко-оранжевым светом, что значительно упростит их обнаружение в джунглях.

В демо-версии толком не понятна предыстория появления «нектара», нам лишь намеками дают понять, что помимо положительных, лекарство обладает и отрицательными свойствами. Вокруг этого и будет разворачиваться основная сюжетная нить.

«Перебрать» с препаратом можно и в демо-версии, это приводит к подобию бешенства, участники отряда начинают беспорядочно стрелять в своих, при этом их желтая броня становится красной. Странный всё-таки продукт подсунуло начальство воякам.


Одиночный режим вряд ли сможет вас удивить – здесь есть все особенные признаки жанра, но каких-либо откровений обнаружить не придется. Многопользовательский режим значительно интересней: совместное прохождение (до 4 человек), рука об руку, доставляет значительно больше удовольствия, позволяя наяву ощутить командные действия. В кооперативном режиме нам предлагают пройти тот же самый уровень, что и в однопользовательском режиме. Так же в демо-версии можно сыграть в классический split-screen - вдвоем на одном экране, при этом экран будет разделен вертикально.

Меня игра смогла увлечь тем небольшим эпизодом, что представлен в демо-версии. С удовольствием бы проследил за развитием сюжета в полной версии игры.

К слову, игра уже почти лежит на прилавках магазинов. По крайней мере, нам обещали «конец мая». Зарубежные игровые ресурсы опробовали полную версию игры. Некоторые подробности читайте ниже:

Команда разработчиков - Free Radical – подтвердили слух о том, что их эксклюзивный P3-шутер Haze, не будет поддерживать высокое разрешение. Как это частенько в последнее время бывает, разрешением (здесь оно 1024x576) решили пожертвовать в пользу плавности картинки и стабильности фрейм-рейта. Дерек Литлвуд (Derek Littlewood ) глава разработки описал ситуациию так: «Мы, как разработчики движка для игры, были нацелены на совершенные вещи, а когда всё стало на свои места, только после этого мы стали определяться с разрешением, которое не повредило бы качеству игрового процесса.»

В итоге ваша PlayStation 3 займется апскейлом 576p до hd-ready разрешения 720p (1280x720). Free Radical считают, что поступили правильно и разницу заметят лишь особо педантичные игроки. Остальным советуем дождаться выхода игры и позаботится о свободном на жестком диске консоли – для игры в полную версию Haze вам понадобится 4 Гбайт.

Зарубежные ресурсы уже выставили не особо положительные оценки игре, однако советуем попробовать игру самостоятельно. Мы, в свою очередь, постараемся опробовать и полную версию игры, после чего еще раз вернемся к этому продукту.
