Это второй продукт (после мобильного телефона Giorgio Armani — Samsung), разработанный Джорджио Армани в рамках стратегического альянса, объявленного обеими компаниями в сентябре 2007 года. Этот альянс обещает разработку ряда престижных портативных продуктов и предметов потребительской электроники, сочетающих эстетику дизайна Джорджио Армани с технологиями Samsung в отрасли потребительской электроники. <br /><br />В число уникальных элементов дизайна входят стильный пульт дистанционного управления (ПДУ) и специальный 4-режимный подсвеченный выключатель питания, демонстрирующий на передней панели логотипы обеих компаний. В режиме ожидания ПДУ отражает простую элегантность самого телевизора. А при манипуляциях устройство мгновенно оживляется подсветкой, отображая целый арсенал удобных функций. Телевизор комплектуется также более миниатюрным ПДУ, располагаемым на углу стойки. <br /><br />Эстетика телевизора дополнительно подчеркивается передним стеклом, демонстрируя простые линии, несущие эмоциональный посыл. Обе модели — и 46-, и 52-дюймовая — наделены развитой функциональностью, в том числе 100Hz Full HD и портами HDMI. <br /><br />Дизайн нового телевизора был навеян новой коллекцией мебели Джорджио — Армани 2008/09 Armani/Casa, включающей чайный столик «Брамс» из гофрированного эффектно лакированного глянцево-черного дерева, который разработан специально для размещения телевизора. <br /><br />46-дюймовый телевизор Armani/Samsung выйдет в продажу в Европе, Южной Корее и России в середине лета. 52-дюймовая модель будет выпущена на тот же рынок в конце лета. <br />
