Эта видеокамера размером чуть больше мобильного телефона способна вести запись с разрешением 1920x1080 с «живым» 5.1-канальным объемным звуком. <br /><br />К тому же, это первая в мире видеокамера, корпус которой изготовлен из титана – материала на 40% легче стали и вдвое прочнее алюминия. <br /><br />Записью, переключением режимов видео/фото и зум-объективом можно управлять большим пальцем при помощи удобно расположенного рычажка и кнопок. Когда включен режим быстрого запуска «Quick On», видеокамера TG1E готова к работе через секунду после того, как вы откроете 2,7-дюймовый сенсорный ЖК-экран Clear Photo LCD Plus. <br /><br />Имеется возможность записи на карту памяти Memory Stick PRO Duo (карта Memory Stick емкостью 4 Гбайт входит в комплект). На дополнительно поставляемую карту памяти Memory Stick емкостью 16 Гбайт можно записать до 5 часов 55 минут видео в формате Full HD (в режиме LP). <br /><br />В основе камеры – матрица ClearVid CMOS на базе технологии Exmor™, применяемой в профессиональных видеокамерах Sony и цифровых зеркальных фотокамерах. Возможности матрицы дополняет мощный процессор обработки изображения BIONZ. Интеллектуальная функция распознавания лиц Face Detection автоматически фокусирует изображение и устанавливает экспозицию и цветовой баланс и распознает до 8 лиц в кадре, что упрощает съемку людей в различных ситуациях. <br /><br />В число поставляемых в комплекте видеокамеры аксессуаров входят кабели USB и компонентного аудио/видео сигнала, док-станция Handycam Station и наручный ремень для удобства переноски.
