Как считает производитель, благодаря интеграции с унифицированной коммуникационной платформой Microsoft, эта камера откроет двери к массовому внедрению видеоконференцсвязи высокой четкости, инициируемой с ПК. Для пользователей компьютеров новая камера радикально повысит качество видеосвязи.<br /> <br />Будущие поставки USB-камеры TANDBERG увязаны с заявленной Microsoft поддержкой ВКС высокой четкости в следующем релизе Office Communications Server. Удаленные пользователи персональных компьютеров, оснащенных этой камерой, получат высококачественную видеосвязь и смогут через Microsoft Office Communications Server подключаться к переговорным комнатам и залам заседаний, оборудованным системами ВКС высокой четкости  и решениями по телеприсутствию.<br /><br />USB-камера высокой четкости будет доступна в первой половине 2009 года, предполагаемая цена устройства составит 300 долларов США.
