Оба поддерживают сервис BD-Live(а, соответственно, и Ethernet), имеют USB –разъем для подключения внешних устройств; в BDP-S550 также присутствует функция PiP (Bonus View) и 1 Gb памяти. Говоря о технические характеристиках также хочется добавить: заявлена поддержка звука TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, dts-HD ( и dts-HD Master в модели S-550), AVCHD, технологии xvYCC, и конечно же разрешение 1080 60/24p. Модель S350 появится в продаже летом по цене порядка 400 долларов. S550 будем ждать осенью по цене около 500 долларов.<br />
