Компания AMD анонсировала новое семейство процессоров AMD Xilleon, призванных обеспечить высокое качество изображения на экранах цифровых ЖК-телевизоров.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1200653235_amd_logo.png" style="border: none;" alt='AMD выпустила процессоры для цифровых ЖК-телевизоров' /></div><br />Процессоры AMD Xilleon позволяют реализовать механизм компенсации движения и технологию преобразования частоты смены кадров на базе технологии фазовой корреляции AMD, поддерживая высококачественный вывод изображения с частотами 100/120 Гц и разрешением до уровня стандарта Full HD. Суть в том, что процессоры могут распознавать 24/60-герцовый сигнал и преобразовывать его в 120-герцовый, создавая промежуточные кадры, основываясь на информации об изображении между кадрами; при этом сохраняется высокая четкость и чистота картинки. Для обеспечения большей гибкости новые процессоры AMD для телевизоров предоставляют широкие возможности программирования и могут встраиваться в ЖК-панели и системные платы решений для просмотра цифрового телевидения, позволяя производителям дифференцировать свои продукты.<br /><br />Три модели с разными размерами диагоналей 120-герцовых ЖК-телевизоров Mitsubishi MZW на базе процессоров AMD Xilleon в сочетании с запатентованной Samsung технологией McFi уже доступны в Японии. Ожидается, что и другие ведущие производители ЖК-панелей начнут использовать процессоры AMD Xilleon в своей продукции в начале 2008 г.
