Sony выводит в свет Blu-ray интерактивный сервис BD-Live На выставке CES компания Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, представила ряд своих интерактивных сервисов BD-Live, планируемых к выходу в 2008 году. Во время интерактивной демонстрации, Sony наглядно продемонстрировала публики возможности сервиса, тем самым ознаменовав завершение продолжительной работы по созданию BD-Live: сервиса поддержки формата Blu-Ray.
Например, сервис дает возможность зрителю скачивать рингтоны и другой контент (кусок музыки или диалог) из Blu-Ray-фильмов на свои мобильные телефоны. Студия так же заявила, что в их планах начать выпуск Blu-ray дисков с фильмами, содержащие в себе дополнительную версию фильма для портативной консоли PSP. Помимо этого компания Sony представила свою первую сетевую BD-live игру, приуроченную к грядущему выходу в свет очередной части фильма «Люди в Черном» (дата релиза в России уточняется). В заключении представители Sony заявили, что на этом они не остановятся и в течение на основе BD-Live будут открыты новые сервисы с эксклюзивным для формата Blu-Ray контентом из фильмов.
