В мае должен появиться также и комбо-плеер BD-UP5500 с поддержкой формата 1080p24. Вся остальная функциональность такая же, как и BD-P1500. Первый из них, 65-дюймовый LN52A750 (также доступный в размерах 40'', 46'' и 52'') поддерживает формат 1080p, технологию 120Гц Auto Motion Plus, 1Гб внутренней флеш памяти, время отклика 4 мс, четыре HDMI-CEC 1.3 порта и USB 2.0. Первая серия плазменных панелей формата  1080p, PN58A750T, доступная в размерах 50'' и 63'', будет поддерживать те же интерактивные функции и Ethernet порт, что и прошлая серия LN52A750R. Но, в отличие от нее, новые модели имеют уровень контрастности 15,000:1 и алгоритм ACE2, который, как заявляется, 'улучшает качество изображения и уменьшает шумы'.
