Удивляться тут нечему, ведь LG является крупнейшим производителем в отрасли оптических накопителей и лидирующим поставщиком приводов на рынке США.<br /><br />  Новинки корейской компании сразу привлекают особое внимание посетителей выставки. Дело в том, что представленные экземпляры реализуют одновременную поддержку остро конкурирующих между собой форматов HD DVD и Blu-ray, а также, конечно, традиционных DVD и CD. Кроме того, все устройства поддерживают технологию LightScribe. Устройство подключается к ПК по USB-шине и не требует отдельного адаптера питания. GSA-E50L записывает диски DVD+/-R на скорости 8x, а также CD-R/RW на скорости 24x. Также поддерживаются двухслойные носители емкостью 8,5 Гб. Эта модель появится в продаже в первом квартале текущего года.
