После многолетнего ожидания, вызванного как техническими, так и юридическими задержками, в деле продвижения многообещающей технологии SED на рынок наметились определенные успехи. Согласно имеющейся информации, японская компания Canon нашла способ довести до прилавков магазинов SED-телевизоры в обход уже набивших оскомину проблем. <br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1199447275_70131.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Canon работает над собственной SED-панелью' title='Canon работает над собственной SED-панелью' /></div><br /><br />Как сообщает японское интернет-издание Asahi, не разглашая при этом своих источников, инженеры Canon работают над собственным "неуглеродным" методом производства SED-панелей, что позволит последней обойти авторские права американской компании Nano-Proprietary Inc., выдвинувшей в прошлом году иск против Canon. Напомним, что несмотря на ничейный исход дела – в мае 2007 года суд присяжных не нашел в действиях Canon прямого ущерба для Nano-Prоprietary – лицензия на выпуск SED-панелей была аннулирована, и японской компании пришлось браться за технологию практически с нуля. <br /><br />Информации о хотя бы ориентировочном времени появления SED-телевизоров на прилавках источник все же не приводит.
