Тайваньский производитель LCD-панелей Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) займется в следующем году продвижением на рынок дисплееев нового форм-фактора, диагональ которых составит 18,4".<br /><br />Начало поставок запланировано на конец второго квартала 2008 года.<br /><br />18,4-дюймовые панели будут производиться на предприятии CPT шестого поколения. С одной подложки будет производиться 24 панели.<br /><br />Новые дисплеи будут иметь следующие характеристики:<br /><br /><li>     Соотношение сторон: 16:9</li><br /><li>     Разрешение: 1366 х 768 пикселей</li><br /><li>     Яркость: 300 нит</li><br /><li>     Контрастность: 1000:1</li><br /><li>     Время отклика матрицы: 5 мс</li><br /><br />Первыми продуктами, в которых найдут свое применение 18,4-дюймовые дисплеи CPT, станут ноутбуки Acer.<br /><br />Некоторые другие производители в настоящее время раздумывают, стоит ли последовать примеру CPT с тем, чтобы заполнить пустующую нишу между 17- и 19-дюймовыми моделями.
