По всей видимости, в следующем году на некоторых моделях ноутбуков с небольшими размерами экрана появятся сенсорные дисплеи нового типа. Как стало известно, специалисты AU Optronics уже разработали 12,1-дюймовый дисплей с применением технологии in-cell, которая позволяет размещать датчики прямо под поверхностью экрана, благодаря чему дисплей имеет крайне малую толщину. Прежде всего, речь идет о субноутбуках, так как одним из основных требований к ним являются малые габариты и вес. В данный момент специалисты AU Optronics работают над разработкой программного обеспечения для дисплеев нового типа.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1198848923_au_optronics.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Ноутбуки скоро получат LCD-дисплеи нового типа' /></div><br />Другая тайваньская компания, Chunghwa Picture Tubes, также продемонстрировала прототип 15,4-дюймового сенсорного дисплея типа in-cell наподобие того, что было показано AU Optronics. По словам представителей компании, серийное производство таких дисплеев может начаться ближе к концу следующего года или в начале 2009 года. Пока неизвестно, будут ли дисплеи, разработанные AOU и Chunghwa Picture Tubes, поддерживать технологию MultiTouch, хотя технология in-cell позволяет одновременно распознавать несколько касаний.<br /><br />Прототипы схожих по конструкции сенсорных панелей уже успели показать японские компании Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology, Sharp и Sony. Об этом мы уже писали, но тогда речь шла пока только о мобильных устройствах. Теперь стало ясно, что в ближайшее время новая технология найдет применение и на ноутбуках.
