Пару дней назад состоялся официальный анонс обновленной технологии SLI компании NVIDIA. Но если раньше мы знали системы с двумя или четырьмя адаптерами, объединенными в SLI, то новая «редакция» технологии подразумевает использование трех GPU некоторых серий GeForce.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1197663992_3way_sli_1.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Технология 3-Way NVIDIA SLI представлена официально' /></div><br />Благодаря использованию режима работы подсистемы видео 3 х SLI такие современные игры как Call of Duty 4, Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars и Unreal Tournament 3 можно будет запускать в максимальном качестве и «наслаждаться качеством картинки с высокой детализацией и в режимах полноэкранного сглаживания (AA)». Делать это можно будет, конечно, при наличии совместимых видеокарт и системной платы, поддерживающей 3 х SLI, например, ASUS P5N-T Deluxe.<br /><br />Производитель отмечает большой прирост производительности видеосистемы от использования трех, а не одного адаптера — 2,8х, хотя по результатам некоторых тестов, это значение было несколько меньше (2,0-2,5х). Тем не менее, взыскательные геймеры смогут получить высокое быстродействие при самых высоких разрешениях — речь идет о 60 кадрах в секунду при 2560х1600 точках и 8-кратном сглаживании. Например, заявлено, что популярная Crysis, как отмечается, будет вполне «играбельной» в системе с 3 х SLI в разрешении 1920х1200 точек и использовании возможностей API DirectX 10.<br /><br />Новая технология 3-way NVIDIA SLI найдет свое широкое применение в продуктах Alienware, заверил ее маркетинговый менеджер по продукции, Марк Диана (Marc Diana).<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1197664039_nvidia_3.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Технология 3-Way NVIDIA SLI представлена официально' /></div><br />При использовании системной платы на базе NVIDIA nForce 680 SLI MCP, а также трех карт на базе GPU GeForce 8800 GTX или GeForce 8800 Ultra, пользователь получает 384 потоковых процессора в сумме, порядка 110 гигатекселей в секунду и более 2 ГБ памяти подсистемы видео. При этом, правда, не стоит забывать о том, что для такой системы потребуется БП мощностью не менее 1,2 кВт, ну и стоить такой компьютер будет порядочно.
