Согласно имеющейся информации, компании Apple и Dell находятся в одном шаге от запуска массового производства небольших ноутбуков с LED-подсветкой. Как сообщает источник из среды тайваньских производителей, две местные компании Nano-Op и Kenmos начали отгрузку усовершенствованных модулей подсветки, использующих белые светодиоды, для AU Optronics (AUO) и Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), соответственно, которые будут применяться в ЖК-экранах ноутбуков американских компаний.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1196980527_67470.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Dell и Apple планируют больше LED-ноутбуков' /></div><br /><br /><br />Сообщается, что Kenmos занята отгрузкой модулей подстветки класса "high-end", что в терминах LED-индустрии может указывать на 15-дюймовые MacBook Pro или XPS M1330. Усилия тандема AUO и Nano-Op сосредоточены на выпуске 13,1-дюймовых ЖК-экранов для ноутбуков Apple и 12,1-дюймовых экранов для моделей компании Dell. Источник, к сожалению, не указывает, какой из ноутбуков Dell будет оборудован 12,1-дюймовым LED-экраном, однако его размеры говорят о модели типа Latitude D430.
