Японская компания Fuji Television Network представила на прошедшей выставке Inter BEE 2007 оригинальный ЖК-дисплей с функцией передачи данных с помощью видимого света. Одной из областей применения подобной разработки может быть беспроводная трансляция различной информации людям с ослабленным зрением или слухом.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1195912868_66369.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Fuji представила ЖК-дисплей с функцией передачи данных' /></div><br />Посетителям выставки была продемонстрирована система в составе ЖК-экрана со светодиодной (LED) задней подсветкой и приёмного устройства на базе карманного компьютера (PDA). В то время как на ЖК-дисплее отображается обычная телевизионная картинка, интенсивность излучения светодиодов тыловой подсветки изменяется с очень высокой скоростью. Для человеческого глаза данные колебания незаметны, тем не менее, они могут нести полезную информацию. Приёмом и расшифровкой этих данных занимается портативный компьютер с фотоприёмником. В нашем случае передавалась текстовая информация, которая выводилась на экран PDA. Если сказать иначе, принцип работы представленной системы заключается в модуляции излучения LED-подсветки передаваемым сигналом.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1195912928_66370.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Fuji представила ЖК-дисплей с функцией передачи данных' /></div><br /><br />Сообщается, что Fuji Television создала новую систему в тесном сотрудничестве с компанией NEC. На её плечи была возложена разработка технологии передачи информации, которая опирается на стандарты, определённые организацией Visible Light Communications Consortium.<br /><br />Что касается технических характеристик прототипа системы, сообщается, что частота мерцаний светодиодов тыловой подсветки равна 28,8 КГц. Назовём её несущей частотой, подвергаемой модуляции полезным сигналом. При этом скорость передачи данных может достигать 4,8 Кбит/с.<br /><br />По мнению специалистов из Fuji Television, основным сдерживающим фактором распространения подобных систем для передачи информации является высокая стоимость светодиодной подсветки на нынешнем этапе своего развития. Поэтому данную разработку можно считать рассчитанной на перспективу.
