При использовании стереоэффекта, 3D-игры ощущаются совершенно по-новому, выводя восприятие игрока на качественно новый уровень: монитор перестаёт быть банальным средством отображения информации и превращается в окно в другой мир.<br /><br />Изделие от Zalman не является революционным продуктом, т.к. схожая по эффекту технология была ранее реализована в стерео-очках NVIDIA, да и подобные мониторы уже присутствуют на рынке. Однако ЖК-панели Zalman привлекают тем, что оснащены лентикулярной линзой нового класса, а также своей более чем приемлемой ценой: от $500.<br /><br />Данные мониторы работают только с видеокартами NVIDIA 5-го, 6-го и 7-го поколений в операционных системах Windows XP/2000. Поддержку видеокарт GeForce 8xxx и работу с Windows Vista, Zalman обещает ввести с января 2008 года.
