В сентябре появлялась информация о выпуске компанией MSI системной платы на базе набора системной логики Intel G35. Спустя два месяца редакции THG.ru стало известно, что компания Asus анонсировала выход материнской платы P5E-VM HDMI, которая является вторым продуктом на базе этого чипсета. Ожидается, что анонс чипсета Intel G35, и соответственно, плат на его основе произойдет в течение декабря.<br /><br />Asus P5E-VM HDMI выполнена в форм-факторе uATX (24.4 x 24.4 см) и поддерживает процессоры в исполнении LGA775, включая 45-нм решения семейства Penryn. Плата оснащена четырьмя слотами памяти DDR2-667/800, в которые можно установить до 8 Гбайт памяти. Чипсет IntelG35 содержит DirectX 10-совместимое графическое ядро GMA X3500, на нужды которого можно выделить до 384 Мбайт. Встроенная в чипсет графика допускает работу с двумя мониторами, используя HDMI/DVI-D и RGB.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1195671816_asus_p5evmhdmi211107.jpg" style="border: none;" alt=' Asus P5E-VM HDMI: материнская плата на базе Intel G35' /></div><br /><br />Новая материнская плата от Asus содержит один слот PCI-E x16, два PCI-E x1 и один PCI. Asus P5E-VM HDMI допускает работу до шести устройств с интерфейсом SATA II, двух с интерфейсом PATA. В распоряжение пользователя также предоставлен восьмиканальный звуковой HD-кодек Realtek ALC 883, два порта FireWire и 12 портов USB 2.0.
