Выход четвертого воплощения классического фильма 'Нашествие Похитителей Тел' с Николь Кидман и Даниэлэм Крэйгом в главных ролях сопровождался различными производственными проблемами (включая длительные пересъемки и постоянные задержки с выходом фильма). Это все огорчило зрителей и не дало возможности собрать внушительный бюджет от проката фильма (всего $30 миллионов), который наконец-то вышел в Августе месяце. Теперь киностудия надеется на успешные продажи "Вторжения" на DVD, Blu-ray и HD DVD (комбо версия), которые должны появиться в продаже 8 Января 2008 года.
Warner планирует 'Вторжение' на Blu-ray и HD DVD

Все эти версии будут иметь одни и те же дополнения, включающий в себя ретроспективный документальный фильм ‘Мы были похищены раньше: Вторжение в Медиа Истории’, а также три дополнительных небольших фильма: "A New Story," "On the Set" and "Snatched."
Технические спецификации HD версий имеют формат видео 1080p/VC-1, звуковые дорожки Dolby TrueHD (48kHz/24-bit) и Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround (оба 640kbps).
Ориентировочная цена для комбо HD DVD составит $39.98, а для Blu-ray версии $34.98.
