Компания ASUS представила новую серию ноутбуков U6. Они базируются на платформе Intel Centrino Duo  и операционной системе Windows Vista. Серия представлена моделями U6S и U6E с широкоформатными 12-дюймовыми дисплеями. U6S заключен в коричневый блестящий корпус, а U6E - в элегантный белый с кожаной подложкой под ладони. Также производитель отмечает, что ноутбуки оборудованы дисплеями со светодиодной подсветкой, которые на 1/3 легче обычных LCD-панелей.
