Альянс WiMedia на днях объявил об успешном завершении первого тестирования устройств на совместимость со спецификацией UWB Common Radio Platform.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1192182527_62352.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Первые 12 UWB-решений получили сертификат WiMedia Alliance' /></div><br /><br />Напомним, что WiMedia UWB является официально сертифицированным стандартом широкополосной беспроводной связи, действующим на короткие расстояния. Главной точкой приложения стандарта станут мультимедийные устройства для домашнего использования. Максимальная скорость передачи данных между устройствами WiMedia UWB равна таковой для проводного USB и составляет 480 Мбит/с. Устройства работают в диапазоне частот от 3,1 до 10,6 ГГц.<br /><br />Первые соискатели логотипа WiMedia Certified были подвергнуты двухэтапному тестированию на соответствие стандартам UWB (ISO/IEC 26907 и 26908). На первом этапе кандидаты были должны продемонстрировать совместимость со спецификацией физического уровня (WiMedia PHY). Прошедшим первый этап предстояло доказать свою дееспособность на подуровне доступа к среде (Media Access Control, MAC). Платформы, успешно справившиеся с испытанием на двух уровнях, официально получали сертификат на совместимость со стандартом WiMedia UWB.<br /><br />Среди первыми прошедших проверку платформ, числятся 12 решений от участников альянса: Alereon Inc., Artimi Inc., Intel Corp., Realtek Semiconductor Corp., Staccato Communications, Tzero Technologies, WiQuest Communications и Wisair.
