С тех пор как было анонсировано устройство Apple TV, включающее помимо прочего, так называемые, требования для HDTV, многие ожидали, когда же Apple добавит HD контент в магазин iTunes. Уже прошло 10 месяцев, а единственный появившийся HD контент сделан в форме HD подкастингов (автоматизированного сбора файлов с других сайтов). <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1191944391_itunes20logo.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='HD от Apple на подходе' /></div><br /> Но теперь, согласно последним слухам, мы можем надеяться на скорое появление HD от Apple. Важным моментом в этом случае должны стать iPod-ы. Как известно, ни один из них не поддерживает HD, и, если Apple запустит фильмы и программы в формате HD, они будут доступны только на компьютере и Apple TV. Самым большим преимуществом, которым обладает Apple и   iPod   связанным с услугой загрузки информации, является портативность, и HD может ее ограничить. На самом деле будет неправильно, если Apple начнет продавать HD фильмы, но требовать при этом, платить дважды, если вы хотите смотреть контент как с помощью Apple TV, так и iPod. Можно только догадываться, как они поступят, но мы все равно в ожидании HD от Apple, даже, несмотря на то, что не будет поддержки отдельного surround sound.         <br />
