Fujitsu Computer сообщила о том, что разработала, как утверждается, лучший в своем классе кодек MPEG-4 AVC HD. Модель, получившая обозначение IP-9500, будет показана компанией на выставке 2007 HD World Conference & Expo, которая пройдет в период с 10 по 11 октября в Нью-Йорке, в центре Jacob Javits Convention.

На HD World Сonference будет представлено много новых разработок различных компаний со всего мира, так как технологии для видео высокой четкости развиваются очень быстро. Сама же Fujitsu проведет здесь наглядную демонстрацию своего кодировщика IP-9500. Планируется использовать его для широковещательной передачи в сеть Интернет по протоколу Internet Protocol (IP) и для сетей Digital Video Broadcast (DVB).

Утверждается, что обеспечиваемое IP-9500 качество сигнала просто отменное, и что провайдеры, использующие сеть с широковещательной рассылкой, смогут задействовать всего один канал DVB-S/S2 для обеспечения очень качественной передачи HD-контента. При этом передача может осуществляться с малой задержкой, использованием низкоскоростного потока данных и средствами уже имеющегося спутникового оборудования.
