Компания Sharp, один из крупнейших производителей ЖК-панелей в Японии, тоже вступила в гонку за звание производителя самого тонкого ЖК-телевизора. На выставке CEATEC в Японии представители Sharp продемонстрировали самый тонкий 52-дюймовый ЖК-телевизор в мире под названием BYO-BU. Корпус которого составляет всего 2 см в толщину и оформлен в традиционном стиле «Byoubu», создающим эффект витания телевизора в воздухе. Новое устройство обладает контрастностью 10 000:1, а его вес составляет всего 25 кг, что совсем немного как для устройства со столь внушительной диагональю экрана.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1191513296_189774.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='ЖК-телевизор Sharp: размер имеет значение' /></div><br />О цене и дате поступления BYO - BU пока не сообщается.
