Возможно, наступает эра бескомпромиссной графики в играх на PC. По официальным данным, новые чипсеты Nvidia GeForce 780i и 780a будут поддерживать работу SLI-режима с тремя видеокартами. Так же стало известно, что чипсет 680i, который выходит в конце года, тоже будет поддерживать этот режим.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1190982301_189399.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='На подходе SLI режим с тремя видеокартами' /></div><br /><br />Первые видеокарты, способные работать втроем – GeForce 8800 Ultra и GeForce 8800 GTX. Для работы потребуется специальный SLI переходник, рассчитанный на работу с тремя картами. Но существуют проблемы, мешающие продвижению тройного SLI в народные массы. Во-первых, новый SLI-коннектор для трёх видеокарт сперва надо где-то раздобыть. Вторая проблема гораздо более прозаична - это цена системы. Ведь даже поодиночке такие видеокарты по карману не каждому, а в трёх экземплярах будут стоить просто немыслимых денег.
