Компания Diamond Multimedia пополнила линейку Diamond XtremeTV, добавив в нее два изделия: HDTV110 и VC500 TV. Первая из новинок предназначена для приема эфирного телевещания стандартной и высокой четкости (NTSC в диапазонах UHF и VHF, ATSC) с помощью портативной антенны, и аналоговых программ кабельного телевидения. Он рассчитан на работу вместе с настольным ПК или ноутбуком. Питание тюнер получает от USB, поэтому внешний адаптер не нужен. Для подключения внешней антенны предусмотрен вход (75 Ом).<br /><br />В комплект поставки входит пульт дистанционного управления, работающий в инфракрасном диапазоне, и программное обеспечение, с помощью которого пользователь может запрограммировать запись передач, просматривать принимаемые и записанные программы с разрешением до 1080i. Чтобы начать и окончить ввод видео, достаточно использовать одну-единственную кнопку. С помощью VC500 можно «захватывать» изображение и звук, поступающие из самых разнообразных источников - видеомагнитофона, видеокамеры, проигрывателя DVD. Одним словом, практически, из любого устройства, оснащенного композитным выходом (RCA) или выходом S-Video. В комплект входит программный пакет Ulead Video Studio SE для редактирования видео. После обработки, видеозапись можно сохранить на оптическом диске, используя встроенную функцию пакета.
