Японский производитель плоских телевизоров компания Hitachi сообщила о скором выпуске собственного 103-дюймового плазменного телевизора, предназначенного для показа рекламы в общественных местах и установки в конференц-залах.

Модель Hitachi CMP1030WFJ станет вторым по счету плазменным телевизором с подобной диагональю. В 2006 г. первый 103-дюймовый телевизор был выпущен компанией Panasonic. Телевизор от Hitachi будет поддерживать полное разрешение высокой четкости 1080 линий прогрессивной развертки - в этом он будет похож на решение от Panasonic, однако, коэффициент контрастности новинки будет немного выше, чем в модели конкурента, - 5000:1 против 4000:1. Вместе со 103-дюймовой моделью будет выпущена еще одна модель, с длиной диагонали 65 дюймов. Ее контрастность составит 10000:1. Назначение этого телевизора аналогичное.
