На днях компания Epson представила одну из своих самых последних разработок - новый фронтальный проектор PowerLite Pro Cinema 1080 UB (UltraBlack), главным достоинством которого является высокая контрастность изображения. Кроме того, устройство может похвастаться поддержкой полного разрешения высокой четкости (1080p), сообщает Electronista.

Согласно официальным данным, коэффициент контрастности нового проектора составляет 50000:1. По заявлению Epson, это самая высокая контрастность среди моделей всех производителей. К примеру, не так давно анонсированный высококонтрастный проектор Sony Bravia VPL-VW60 имеет коэффициент контрастности всего лишь 35000:1.

Яркость нового проектора Epson составляет 1600 лм. Отмечается наличие нового чипсета обработки изображения D7 и поддержка 12-битного цвета. Для подключения к источникам сигнала проектор планируется оснастить интерфейсом HDMI версии 1.3, которая поддерживает более глубокую передачу цвета.

Согласно предварительным данным, проектор поступит в продажу в декабре 2007 г. Его стоимость пока не сообщается. Для сравнения, стоимость Sony Bravia VPL-VW60, выход которого запланирован на текущий месяц, составит около $3,9 тыс.
